COVID19 MEASURES – 31 may 2021

These are the event-related rules imposed by the Swiss Confederation and the Vaud Canton as of 31 may 2021 until 30 june 2021

PUBLIC EVENTS WITH UP TO 100 PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED (without the staff)

  • Tracking is mandatory; only registered events are allowed
  • Masks must be worn throughout the event
  • Participants must be seated
  • The realization of a health plan for the event is mandatory. This must be submitted to the municipal authorities for approval via email police.commerce@polouest.ch
  • Seated catering allowed, per table of 4 people inside and 6 people outside
  • Social distance of 1.5 m
  • Half of available places the can be occupied

WORKING MEETINGS ARE ALLOWED WITHOUT LIMITATION OF THE NUMBER OF PERSONS

  • Tracking is mandatory; only registered events are allowed
  • Masks must be worn throughout the event

SPECIFICITY FOR SPEAKERS

Persons performing in front of an audience whose performance is incompatible with the wearing of a mask may remove it. Provided that the distance of 1.5m is respected.

NEW MEASURES AS OF 1 JULY 2021

Large events will be allowed again from 1 July 2021. Indoors, the number of participants will be capped at 3,000, as in the consultation draft. Outside, large events will be able to accommodate 5,000 rather than just 3,000 people, as long as they are seated and the limit of two-thirds of the usual capacity is not exceeded. When people are standing, during an open air event for example, their number will be limited to 3000, with a limit of half the usual capacity and the obligation to wear a mask.
